صلاة الله سلام الله
على نبي الأمي طه
My heart is broken,
But now I have woken,
Tears have fallen,
Eyes left dry,
So tell me why,
It’s only the broken at your door?
Breathing the scents of Kāẓimaħ, (another name for Madīnaħ)
For that place is my home,
I miss my gaze,
When it would fall upon that Blessed Place,
The Green Dome,
A sign of your hope,
Separation from you is so painful,
My heart is cold,
But you can give it life,
Just as you gave them a purpose,
A lost misguided people,
Who became the best,
For you are the best,
Whispers of Ṣalawāt,
Escape these lips of mine,
For each vowel,
Carries a sacred message,
Loves vestiges,
Tears mix with blood,
For you have captured my heart,
So these footprints I see,
Left by my beloved,
I kiss them,
As I traverse them,
For I want to be with him,
So I ask the Lord,
To bring me close to my desired reward,
Gazing upon his ﷺ face,
So whether it be in my sleep or the next place,
I just want to catch a glimpse,
Of the perfection of creation!
